Therapists of New Orleans is a small private practice group located in the Uptown/University area. Clinicians are experienced in working with a diverse group of clients from a broadly psychodynamic approach, integrating cognitive-behavioral, emotion-focused, and dialectical behavioral techniques in a flexible way that is specific to each client. Individual, couples, and family therapy is offered to an adult population.

  • Kelly Bolger, Ph.D.

    Dr. Bolger is a clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience in private practice, including the New Orleans area. She earned her doctorate degree from The New School and spent years working and doing research in the field of psychology in NYC Hospitals, including NYU-Bellevue Hospital Center and St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital. She generally works from a psychodynamic perspective but is trained and uses parts of DBT, CBT, and Emotional-Focused approaches in her work as well. She treats a wide range of clients including people coping with mood issues, personality disorders, and trauma related struggles. She welcomes adult individuals, couples, and families.

  • Chloe Haagen, LCSW

    A psychotherapist with 10 years of experience, Chloe works with adult individuals and couples. She specializes in addiction, complex trauma/PTSD, and relationship issues. Prior to entering private practice, she was the Clinical Director for Grace House, a long-term, residential addiction treatment center. She is broadly psychodynamic in her approach and blends attachment-based, Internal Family Systems, DBT, and narrative components in her practice to create a trauma-informed, holistic, approach. Chloe approaches therapy as a collaborative process that helps people develop insight, acceptance and trust in themselves.

  • Betool Ridha, Ph.D.

    Dr. Ridha holds a doctorate in counseling psychology from Auburn University. She completed her clinical internship training at Texas A&M University Counseling and Psychological Services in College Station, Texas. Dr. Ridha specializes in assessing and treating mood disorders, as well as behavioral, relational, and trauma-related concerns among adults. Her therapy style is fundamentally relational and relies on psychodynamic understandings of illness and healing. She provides therapy services in both English and Arabic.
